Wild garlic, and why we don't pick it in the woods

Wild garlic is the first green of the year, and it has poisonous lookalikes. That is why we do not gather it in the woods but grow it ourselves, in the shade of the hedges in St. Gallen and Lucerne.
It is on the menu until the end of April: as a soup with a poached egg, and in the hollandaise with asparagus from the Seeland.
